If you are seeking a specialist to discuss your fertility advice, your first step will be to get a referral from your GP.
Your referral will allow you to claim a rebate from Medicare.
It is important to know a referral from a GP is only valid for 12 months.
If you are seeking medical advice as a couple, it is a Medicare requirement that the names and dates of birth of both partners appear on referrals.

At your first appointment, Dr Weston will assess you (and your partner if required) and organise any tests. Dr Weston brings the latest scientific knowledge to decision making with his patients, you can expect a caring, sensitive and honest approach. Dr Weston will be able to advise you of options available with your special circumstances in mind.
Any previous history will be reviewed. If you have the results of relevant tests performed prior to seeing Dr Weston, please bring them with you.
